I'M BACK FROM BAND CAMP Y'ALL. I BET YOU MISSED ME (:
alrights. i'll blog about band camp!
first day-we had combined with st margs! the very first day. hahaha, they were super friendly and stuff. and i felt really really weird. because it seemed like i was the only one emptying saliva from the instrument then. cause it was like the rest were not. yeah. then later we had to roll our HEAVY HEAVY instruments to the lift to the band room. yeah, so painful. then it was like when we went into the band room they started cheering for us? i didn't know why though. yeah, then later we left st margs and went back to CHIJ for sectionals. sectionals were kinda okay. draggy and all. then soon, sectionals were over and we had our dinner and showered. the water was super cold. then later we went to the performing arts room to sleep. we watched a movie first. we watched chronicles of narnia. this is the first movie that i've ever watched through without sleeping. the other band camps i slet through all. such a big big big accomplishment! (: hahaha, during the movie i was commenting that the guy who is older, he kept using the sword for everything after he got it from the santa claus. how irritating. i was expressing it quite ludly but not everyone heard me. hahaha. it was kinda boring the first day, not really much to do and all. yeah, and then we slept.
second day- we walked to the toa payoh market for breakfast. i ate and was so full that when we reached school i wanted to vomit. well, then we had sectionals in the morning. then it was as usual draggy. but i practised and did quite alot of work. yeah. then we went over for lunch at st margs. the teachers forgot about sec ones. and after the seniors ate at st margs, they brought the food over for them to eat. seiriol, clare, roslyn, daphne and i sat with the st margs tuba and trombone players. hahaha, they're super hilarious and all. they were joking around and stuff. then later we had combined with them, played the pieces through and worked on it. yeah super tired during the combined. felt like sleeping. thank god i didn't. yeah. then mr tan sorta scolded the entire tuba section. both st margs and ij. but it's okay. then later we left. we had to carry our tubas down because the lift was under maintenance. tired tired. then my hand had blisters. so irritating la. then cause tessa left her double bass there, then we were so embarrassed as the st margs people had to carry it for us. we were thanking them! seiriol and i that is. the st margs people offered to help us carry our tubas down. one of them helped me, i realised that she wasn't wearing her shoes, and the floor was kinda dirty so i decided to carry it myself. but the st margs people are nice. yeaps. we went back to ij. we had our bbq! it was super duper fun. lots and lots of food. everyone was fighting to give mr chan food so that he could grade them. my section, bassoon and double bass were rated the best satays! we were the satay queen! hahaha. then we played the bomb bomb bomb game. we named our bassy bomb! bassline bomb! hahaha. it was so damn funny. then it was like the trombone section were so unwilling to play, only roslyn was like shouting for the entire section. they really have no rah rah spirit in them as quoted from someone. but anyway, thank god roslyn is in their section or they would have been bombed many many times. we also had some kind of 'leaving' talk for letitia. she's migrating to australia or smth like that. then we played some other games too. hahaha. it was fun. then later mr chan said if we couldn't finish eating the food, we had to run. so all of us starting stuffing ourselves with food and as we ate, we puked. so horrible. then we also had a food fight. meishi and dawn. tskk. meishi worst. smeared cake over my class tee. aiyo. horrible horrible. alyssa lim, alyssa tan, beatrice, shalyn, meishi, dawn and i were involved in the food fight. it was so fun. hahaha, then later we heard mr tan was coming. so we decided to barbecue some stuff for him to eat. he was like can he eat anot. later tomorrow he gets food poisoning! AIYO so horrible ): then later we all got so HIGH. we started to dance and sing vogelhandler and canto. we were so wild! hahaha. super duper fun! best band camp ever. because of the bbq. hahaha. then after we had our shower, we went to the dance studio to sleep. alyssa lim, meishi, dawn, shalyn and beatrice were having like some talk till 1am. i slept already. and at 1am, i was like, "so late already, y'all better sleep now." the next moment they said it's so late let's sleep now. so then they slept. and i was staring at meishi for like half an hour cause i couldn't sleep back again. AIYO. then i finally fell asleep.
third and final day- we went to the market for breakfast again. yeah i sat with the trombone section again. hahaha. then later we had sectionals. we were all really really dead then. our high-ness had left us and we were freaking tired. then later we had lunch. and we had combined with sec ones to play vogelhandler. yeah, it was kinda okay. meishi can play. at last. though sometimes she can't play it. yeah. we broke camp abit earlier and yeah it was fun. the entire band camp. hahaha. alyssa tan was complaining about how the tenor sax was heavier than the bassoon and all. then i was like,"alyssa, you stay so close to st margs! stop complaining la! aiyo." that kind of thing. then she was like still. i have to walk a long long way. but yeah, i also don't know why hers wasn't included la. yeah alrights, that is all.
